Our DEI committee is committed to creating diverse, equitable and inclusive spaces for people of all backgrounds within the marketing industry. Therefore, we have made a commitment to creating an environment in which Black, Indigenous, Persons of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+ folks, and persons living with disabilities are represented in an inclusive and equitable way.
The mission of the DEI Committee is to reverse the effects of systemic oppression in the advertising industry and take decisive action that creates an environment that is diverse, equitable and inclusive.
First and foremost, we aim to educate ourselves internally on the social and historical context that surrounds nationally recognized cultural events, the impact of marketing, and ensuring our workplace is as inclusive as possible.
This year, we launched our first-ever Industry Day event to introduce the next generation of students to the world of marketing. We offered students a chance to engage with leaders at our agency, participate in enriching workshops, and connect with peers.
Supporting DEI goes beyond the things that we do at work, it extends into our community. We regularly schedule and promote cultural events in and around our local community. Additionally, we are committed to sourcing minority-owned businesses for many of our vendors.
Deepening our commitment to positive change, we proudly support community organizations that are at the forefront of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. We regularly donate to impactful programs and initiatives, empowering communities and nurturing inclusive environments for all.
To ensure we are constantly progressing, we perform an annual DEI survey to assess ourselves in this category.
